The lid cap replaces previous accessories like the splash guard, simmering basket, measuring cup, etc. Tightly place it on top of the mixing bowl with a little twist/turn, like you would close the lid of a jar, to secure it properly and prevent possible splashes. It is always placed on the mixing bowl lid except when the Varoma® is used or when washing the lid and lid cap. When removing the lid cap for using the Varoma®, be careful, since the lid and lid cap get very warm while cooking.
How do I place the lid cap properly?
Tightly place it on top of the mixing bowl with a little twist/turn, like you would close the lid of a jar, to secure it properly. It should always be placed on the mixing bowl lid except when the Varoma® is in use or when washing the lid and lid cap.
During the cooking process, my lid cap came off. What should I do?
In rare occasions, the lid cap can come off during the cooking process and fall to the side. If that happens, simply finish your cooking step and put it back on with a little twist/turn, like you would close the lid of a jar. Be careful, since the lid and lid cap get very warm while cooking.
